NDO ON Software Design Engineer

 

Responsibilities:

* Work on NG-SDH, MSTP, Metro Ethernet switch, access router product

• Design and implement software modules
• Work on product related features
• Perform unit test and integration in software development group
• Maintain software modules and support deployment

 

Requirements:

• BE/ME in CE/CS or similar field, 2 years work experience in telecom product area
• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• RTOS embedded experience (VxWorks, PSOS, Linux OS)
• Hands on experience on switch/router embedded software development
• Hands on experience on ASIC driver, Network Processor microcode and packet forwarding
• Must be a self-starter, team player, be able to work cohesively within the team and across geographically spread teams to accomplish results
• Experience in L2/L3 protocols (any of the following protocols; VLAN, LACP,STP, IGMP, Multicast, OSPF, ISIS etc.) is a plus
• Experience of networking technologies at Layer-2/Layer-3 (e.g., Ethernet bridging, QoS, VLAN, IP routing and forwarding) is a plus
• Experience of SDH/SONET product and application (cross connection, protection, synchronization, etc.) is a plus
